Make the solution stronger for dried-on stains like bug droppings and dirt splashes. 3 tablespoons in half a bucket of lukewarm water will suffice for regular cleaning. Warm water is recommended for removing hard stains, but room temperature water can be used as well. Start by dipping the sponge in the solution and wiping the window glass (squeezing away any excess water). Don’t bother about scrubbing stains away; the squeegee is in charge of it. The sponge wash is just used to remove surface filth and to get the windows moist and soapy in preparation for the following stage.
